Bold styling
The C-MAX has dynamic front and rear, contoured lines and a distinctive trapezoid grille, giving it a contemporary look. Other key design features include dramatically styled headlights, and an elegant one-piece bumper to emphasise the car’s visual appeal. At the rear we have added a subtle spoiler, plus LED tail lights for powerful illumination and a sporty feel.
The large new optional panorama glass roof adds a smooth, architectural touch – and a practical one. It feels light, cool and airy at all times, thanks to smart solar reflect technology that helps deflect the sun’s heat. In another first for Ford, distinctive tail lamp strips featuring LED technology provide a futuristic look at the rear.
The new C-MAX will come with great options to further enhance its sporty and agile nature. For example Sport Packs will include such options as upgraded alloys, sports seats and body coloured rear spoilers. Never a dull moment.
New interior design: smart innovations
The interior of C-MAX has been designed to make you and your family feel right at home. The cabin is spacious, incredibly versatile and equipped with everything to make every journey a rewarding experience. With a design that’s sleek and forward-looking. A new centre console offers plenty of smart storage.
A variety of colours and elegant fabrics are available, including full Napoli leather in Ebony. The soft-touch materials beautifully complement the design flourishes and features inside the cabin. Every stitch, every cut of cloth and leather in the C-MAX has been as meticulously crafted.
The stylish flow-through centre console contains useful stowage space and houses innovative features such as an MP3 socket for your player. The pull-out armrest is fitted with a useful in-built storage bin.
A quick glance around the interior will be enough to convince you of the high-quality finish as well as the high levels of detailing, such as the stylish aluminium-look flourishes on the door handles.
The new C-MAX remains impressively versatile. Its three individual rear seats with “tip and tumble” capability mean that the cabin can be configured in various combinations to accommodate all kinds of passenger and load carrying variations.
Entertainment and information systems
The DAB Sony entertainment system features a digital DAB radio and speakers, providing improved reception and sound quality, plus high-output speakers that make every note pin sharp. A Sony 6-disc in-dash CD autochanger is available, so now you can listen to six CDs without changing discs. You can plug in your USB device and see your favourite tracks appear on the centre console display. To control the music, just operate the toggles on the steering wheel, or use voice commands to operate the Bluetooth®* with Voice Control technology.
Navigation
Two navigation systems are available with the C-MAX: an Advanced navigation system with optional 5” colour screen and a Premium system with an optional 7” colour touch-screen.
The Advanced system features a 5” full-colour display with map and turn-by-turn instructions to your destination, as well as the option to play MP3 files directly from your memory card for enhanced sound quality. The system also includes an external AUX jack, SD memory card slot for data exchange and map data, remote audio controls and six speakers.
Choose the Premium navigation option, and you will have a 7" full-colour touch-screen display and easy-to-follow visual with spoken instructions. The system also includes Bluetooth®* USB, a CD/MP3 audio system, climate controls, remote audio controls, an external AUX jack and eight premium speakers. An additional feature is a rear view camera, which makes parking easier by displaying the grid view from the rear of the vehicle on your touch-screen.
